Are you coming in for your first acupuncture session? Here are a few things you should know.
Your first session will consist of an intake interview/assessment and an acupuncture treatment. During the intake we will go over your primary concerns and health history, as well as some information about acupuncture to get you comfortable with the process.
Wear loose, comfortable clothing.
Depending on the focus of your treatment you may need to remove some of your clothing in order to access the necessary body areas. You will be draped appropriately with a sheet to cover sensitive areas. If you have any concerns about this let us know and we will come up with a solution that works for you.
The acupuncture treatment portion of your first appointment will take about 45 minutes, including time for needle placement and removal. We will guide you through the process and make sure you are comfortable with each step.
After the needles are removed we will go over any other relevant information including our treatment plan and scheduling for further appointments if necessary.

24 hour notice is required for appointment cancellations, any appointment cancelled with less than the required notice will be charged 50% cost of the appointment.
