Brian Ferguson, L.Ac. Dipl.O.M.

Brian is a Colorado state licensed acupuncturist and NCCAOM board certified Diplomate of Oriental Medicine.

Initially drawn toward western medicine, Brian studied biology and neuroscience as an undergraduate at UC Davis. After completing a bachelors degree, his path led him to acupuncture and he immediately felt a deep connection to the techniques and methodology of this traditional practice. He then earned his Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego, CA.

Brian has been in practice since 2016 and has studied multiple modalities including traditional acupuncture, sports acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, Master Tung style, scalp and auricular acupuncture, as well as soft-tissue strategies such as cupping and guasha. He combines a classical approach with modern techniques in order to create an effective treatment style, and he prioritizes communication with his patients to create a comfortable environment. In practice, he focuses on treating chronic pain, headaches, migraines, insomnia, stress, and anxiety. He also has a special interest in care related to spinal cord injury and traumatic brain injury, and he offers his services at the Chanda Center for Health, a non-profit dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with physical disabilities.

Outside of work, Brian frequently enjoys outdoor hobbies such as skiing, hiking, and biking. He also enjoys spending time creating art, working with oil paint and charcoal. Colorado offers an amazing way to interact with nature, and Brian is excited to be in a place where he believes opportunities are infinite.
